Gautam Buddha taught the world the way to enlightenment by practicing morality, meditation and wisdom !!!

Spread the love

THE BUDDHA born as a prince,
in Lumbini’s land ,
Siddhārtha Gautama, so grand.
In a palace, rich and bright,
He lived in comfort, day and night.

But questions stirred within his mind,
About life’s sorrows, hard to find.
He saw old age, sickness, and death,
And left his home to seek the depth.

Underneath a Bodhi tree,
He meditated, long and free.
Till dawn broke, and wisdom came,
He became the Buddha, with a new name.

He taught of kindness, peace, and light,
To follow the path, do what is right.
In villages, towns, his message spread,
A way to live, where love is fed.

His journey took him far and wide,
Through valleys green and riverside.
Teaching monks and common folk,
In gentle words, wisdom spoke.

Years went by, his hair turned gray,
Still, his spirit lit the way.
Until one day, in serene peace,
His earthly life came to a cease.

In Kushinagar, he lay at rest,
Having shared his teachings, all his best.
From childhood prince to enlightened sage,
Buddha’s story, page by page.

A life of seeking, finding truth,
From royal halls to simple youth.
He left a path for all to see,
To live with love and harmony.
